		<description>Actually procedure are stored in mysql. phpmyadmin is 3rd party software to access mysql objects(tables,views,triggers,procedures) I am not sure which version of phpmyadmin you are using. but latest version of phpmyadmin have features to show procedures. but its not displayed like you see it for tables. procedure names are displayed &lt;img src="http://www.runwalsoft.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/procedures.jpg" alt="Way of procedures displayed on phpmyadmin" /&gt;. 

for full features of mysql. Try to use dos prompt or shell prompt.</description>
